Fancy Dress Competition:

Charge up your creative mind and come up with an idea to dress up your kids. Competition will be held between age group of Infant to 5 years and 6 to 13 years, and of course adults are welcome to participate too. Please follow the link below for competition rules and sign up sheet.

Dress Code:

Dressing is a reflection of thoughts and ideas that we stand for. As we celebrate the togetherness of our community, we can add to these celebrations by dressing up in a unified way. Here is a recommended dress code for our evening programs

Friday 3rd Sept Evening - Krishna Janmashtami and Disco Dandiya– Shades of Red and Yellow. Dress for Dandiya, Garba and Dance

Saturday 4th Sept Evening – Rangilo Rajasthan - Traditional Rajasthani Dress

Sunday 5th Sept Evening – Sanj Sanjeevani Concert (Hindi and Rajasthani Songs) – Bollywood Dressing/Dressing of your choice

Youth Activities and Speed Dating:

Please sign up for speed dating sessions so that we can plan these sessions in an effective way. This will be a great opportunity to meet, network, make new friends and share your vivid experiences of community, family, school, career, job search etc. Please follow the link below to sign up.

The stage will have a drop projector. If you have a presentation that can go along with your performance, please send a copy by email so that it can be played during your performance.

Yoga and Bhajan Event:

The Yoga and Bhajan sessions will be held at the beautiful Reston Town center under the open sky. Members planning for the yoga sessions are requested to bring yoga mats. (if possible). If you have any extra mats, please bring those as well. We have quite a few attendees who are flying to D.C. and may not be able to carry one.

Hyatt Regency hotel is just a 10 minutes drive from Washington - Dulles International Airport (IAD). The hotel shuttle runs every hour. Please inform the hotel about your arrival time. This may help in scheduling an extra shuttle if needed.
